ZACH YAFFE

Personal Trainer & Owner

I have been working in fitness for over a decade and have amassed experience training all populations from teens to seniors, elite athletes to weekend warriors – helping build their fitness and rehab their injuries. My focus is and has always been helping people meet their goals while creating a fun and safe experience. I focus on healthy body movement and positioning to reduce pain while building strength and mobility.

I am certified as a personal trainer with the NSCA, and I continue to learn whenever and wherever possible. I have completed The McGill Method Summit organized by Backfit Pro which gave me new insight into injury mechanisms, how to avoid them, and how to rehabilitate them.

My vision for Studio YULBFIT, is to work together with a team of experienced professionals who share a common vision of how to best serve our clients of all ages and physical ability to be in shape for everything life brings their way.

ERICA DEL TORTO

Personal Trainer & Course Instructor

I bring extensive experience in fitness with a focus on safety, enjoyment, and inclusivity for all ages and skill levels. My love for team sports like soccer, basketball, and skiing evolved into a passion for personal training, where I discovered the same sense of community and challenge. As a lifelong learner, I hold certifications in Personal Training, Corrective Conditioning, Indoor Cycling, and TRX. Join my class, and we’ll tackle your goals together—you’re on my team!

JULIE ADAMS

Personal Trainer & Course Instructor

With over a decade of martial arts and fitness experience, I bring passion and expertise to personal training. Starting with Kickboxing in 2011, I expanded to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai, competing in amateur tournaments since 2015 and earning a purple belt. Certified as a trainer in 2016, I blended strength training and martial arts to enhance performance and help others achieve their goals. At Studio YULBFIT, I offer 8-week courses for all ages and fitness levels, including Building Character Through Fitness for teens, which fosters self-respect and confidence, and Foundations of Women’s Self-Defense, focusing on fitness, situational awareness, and strategies for managing aggression.

BORIS KOVACEVIC 

Personal Trainer

With over 30 years in fitness, I bring attention to detail and a friendly approach to help clients safely achieve their goals while enjoying the process. I specialize in enhancing flexibility and range of motion and building strength for people of all ages to boost performance and prevent injury – preparing them to play sports or just navigate life. Originally from Croatia, I transitioned from competitive basketball to a career in training after rehabilitating my own injury. Now a proud Canadian, I’ve spent 12 years in Montreal training clients from beginners to Olympians, earning certifications in various methods, including Functional Movement Screens (FMS).

FMS identifies imbalances that can hinder performance and increase injury risk. I guide clients through corrective exercises to restore functional symmetry, benefiting athletes of all levels. Passionate, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, I aim to make every session safe, fun, and effective.
